This 80-something year gentleman old was out last week when we had a freak warm spell washing his truck. I promise you his is the cleanest 1st gen little Blazer you will ever see. He takes really good care of everything. His house is like a 1960s time capsule, and he had a 71/72 Pontiac LeMans up until maybe 15 years ago. I saw it street parked a few months ago, and it still looked this good, so you can imagine how nice it looked when he sold it.

You can tell he was born during the Depression, clearly was raised to appreciate the value of a dollar.

I wanted a 2 door for my first car back in 95' I wanted it black with 2 white racing stripes. But being my parents gave me their 85 Sentra wagon.
I always liked the old school 2 door blazers, most likely cause we had a 84 while growing up.

My dad had one of these back in the day, brown on brown. It wasn’t as meticulously maintained, and I can still hear the noise from the failing exhaust manifold gasket on the 2.8.
Gotta respect people who care for their cars, no matter the car.

1st gen of the smaller S-10 body.

And to add to it he was born in southern Italy or Sicily, I forget. So there’s that whole land of opportunity thing going on.

I should ask if he wants to sell it, but at one point he said somebody offered him way more than I’d like to pay for it and he declined the offer.

Yeah, I was going to say 1st gen mid-size Blazer but not sure if that’s technically correct. I only argued because it made me feel old, that’s the 3rd gen that I personally tracked growing up! Had a buddy with a 350 in one. Syclones still turn my head, they were legit.

Yea. My dad had a 1979 K5 Blazer so I was partial to the full size ones, but these and their pickup siblings have grown on me over time especially the Cycone/Typhoon. It’s a nice clean, plain, simple 80's design that has gotten better with age, in my opinion.

That’s the car I’ve been trying to figure out for the longest time! Someone a street away from me had an Pontiac LeMans in their driveway for years while I was growing up and I always thought it was weird how close the rear door was to the wheel well. It was the same color too!

Now you know. But are you sure it wasn’t a Chevelle, Skylark, or Cutlass?

All I remember is that it is a four door. I wouldn’t be able to tell you what make specifically.

It’s ok. At least you’ve significantly narrowed it down.

I know it didn’t have a tonneau cover or fake one on top. Does that narrow it down any?

Unfortunately not.
